Traditional medicine in modern nutritional approach

Dietetic feed represents alternative to the standard feed in some specific cases with altered nutritional needs. It is not the replacement for the standard feed, it should be used only when necessary and in the shortest period of time needed to resolve the problem. With the start on the new millennium, return to traditional become the trend. Rediscovery of the old knowledge, investigation of its efficiency in the modern animal production, scientific explanation, mass production and commercialization are fields of scientific efforts. Chinese traditional medicine could become the partner to the modern medicine in the prevention, therapy, improvement of feed quality and its utilization, as well as in the production of safe animal products.
