The predatory relationship between the spider and lace bug of place - Corythyca ciliata Say. (Tingidae, Heteroptera), a well-known pest of the plane originating from USA and Canada was investigated. Collecting of the material was done in winter and early spring days. The spider fauna found under the plane bark consists of the representatives of 10 families:Dyctinidae, Theridiidae, Micryphantidae, Araneidar, Gnaphosidae, Clubionidae, Anyphaenidae, Thomisidae and Salticidae. Presence of the species of the Theridiom genus was noticed in all localities. The possibility of feeding and then the efficiency of the spiders of Chiracanthium mildei and Theridion lunatum species were investigated in laboratory experiments. The difference in food consumption and efficiency of the mentioned spider species on the reduction of the lace bug of plane population density was found. The average daily food consumption of C. mildei species is 8.2 lace bug of plane individuals and that of T. lunatum species 3.1. Moreover, the lace bug of plane is more and more present in our plane plantations.
