Susceptibility to Spilocaea oleaginea of 28 olive cultivars, in the conditions of Montenegro seacoast (Yugoslavia) has been investigated. There have been found significant differences between cultivars in the intensity of disease. All the investigated cultivars could be classified into 5 categories: very susceptive, susceptive, medium susceptive, very little susceptive and resisting to very resisting. To the first group belong San Pardo, Morvelonadi Grecia, Bella di Spagna, Zutica, Moraiola, Verdale. Between them there are no significant differences on the investigated susceptibility, but between them and all the others there are very significant differences. To the 2nd group belong the following cultivars: Oblica, Drobnica, Leventinka, Uljarica, Sant Agostino, Duzica, Favoral. They have the approximately attack epressed by indexes 1 - 2, i.e. their leaves are approximately covered with spots which cover 1/4 of their surface. There are no significant differences between them. The 3rd group consists of the following cultivars: Coratina and Santa Catarina. With their marks of 0,92 and 0,79 they are close not only to the previous group, but also to the next which is marked as little susceptive, and to which belong Rosciola, Frantoio and Novo di picione cultivars. Almost 1/3 of the investigated cultivars belong to the group of resisting and very resisting cultivars as follows: Canina, Grozdaca, Taggiasca, Ascolana tenera, Lastovka, Pnedolino, Mignolo, Picholine, Maurino and Leccio. There are no statistically important differences between them, and the last three are practically immune.
