Adlan, A.M. (Veterinary research administration, Khartoum (Sudan))
In the paper is researched the spore effect of penicillin, didromycin, terramycin, chloromycetin, sulphodimidin 37 %, tylosin 5 % and sulfamethazine 16 % on avirulent spores of anthrax. It is concluded that penicillin, didromycin, terramycin and chloromycetin have a destructive effect on spores of anthrax. By the method of paper chromatography are found aminoacids, both in inactivated and in living spores. The fact that antibiotics have a destructive effect on spores of anthrax can be of a practical importance.
