In the water from the source and in installations for preparing drinking water in Obrenovac (SFRY) is found the presence of Siderocapsa. Gallionella and Leptotrix genus of bacteria. In the same water system building is found that they contain 56.48 - 62.20% of Fe2O3 and 0.10 -0.46% of MnO (counted on dry substance) and this is in correlation to ferrum and manganese ion concentration in water and to their unequal velocity of oxidation. It is established that ferrum is presented in the shape of amorphous hydrated oxide FeOOH, which loses water while heating at the temperature of 150 C converting into hematite and magnesite. It is suggested the principle technological scheme for water purifying by filter rinsing with the aim of sediment separation and refining.
