Djuric, B.
Fruska gora white plum (FW) can very successfully multiply generatively and vegetatively. The seed is relatively small, of good and equal sprouting, with the period of post raping from 90-130 days. The greatest percentage of seeds sprout in the period between 100-120 days. By covering bushes is gotten approximately 6,2 to 7,1 sprouts per bush, during the first 5 years of production. The reanimating of rape shoots in natural and artificial conditions (glass house) without appliance of IBA phytohormones is very weak, and it is gotten only 3.5-5.0 % of revoved shoots. The vegetative growth of plant height (x=75,5 cm) and with (x=9,9 mm) is satisfied during the sleeping time bud. The vegetative growth of annual seedlings of Best Hungarian apricot and Kecskemet rose on FW plum as stock is very equalized. The compatibility between FW plum as stock and the Best Hungarian apricot is total. The vegetative growth of apricot tree mainly depends on stock rankness. The starting fruitfulness in both varieties of apricot begins in the 3rd year on the investigated stock. The intensity of apricot premature drying depends on stock. The worst total drying of apricot tree of both varieties at the end of juvenile period was at the domestic apricot and dzanarika as the stocks (60 %), while at the white plum and generative stocks of FW it was 1.5%. The plum FW is very perspective stock for apricot, and primarely for the agricultural conditions in Fruska gora (Yugoslavia) and perhaps widely.
