[Supervising corn seed production]

In the paper is discussed the production and supervision under seed production of line hybrid maize. There are cited the legal norms from the Book of regulations on expert supervision under seed production and the act of pure supervision and also the previous experiences in this activity, so as the main demands and problems in agrotechnical seed production. Recently, in SFRY is produced and applied the seed of so called modified hybrids. These are mainly the modified single crosses. In seed production of line hybrid in SFRY are included the great number of different work organizations (WO) : scientific WO as a propriator of its own created hybrids and producer and owner of parents components, i.e. WO that made the introduction of hybrid; producing WO at which area is conducted a production; WO at which sections is done the drying and finishing of produced seed; WO whose experts supervise the production; WO for controlling the seed quality; WO for the turn over of seed; and business associations, groups and communities whose members are the previously mentioned working organizations.
