Lake fisheries in SR Macedonia [Yugoslavia]

The paper has described fluctuations of fishing of commercial fish species in the Ohrid, Prespan and Dojran lakes in the Socialist Republic of Macedonia (SFRY). The main fish species of commercial importance in the Ohrid lake are: Salmo letnica Kar., Salmothymus ohridana Steind., Anguilla anguilla L., Cyprinus carpio L., and Alburmus. The main fish species in the Prespan lake are: Cyprinus carpio L., Chondrostoma nasus Kar., and Alburnus sp. The main fish species in the Dojran lake are: Cyprinus carpio L., Ruthilus rutilus, Perca fluviatilis L., Silurus glanis L. and Albunus sp.
