Investigation of the inactivated vaccine for protection against infection with Mycoplasma synoviae (in broilers)

Vaccination of broiler chickens with inactivated Mycoplasma synoviae and M. gallisepticum vaccines was investigated. One-day-old chickens did not develop a satisfactory immunological response and natural Mycoplasma synoviae and M. gallisepticum infection took place. Specific antibodies for the mycoplasmas were proved by the immunofluorescence test both in the case of artificial and of natural infection of the chickens.
