Deformation of chicken egg shells is smaller in eggs laid after 11 o'clock, this indicating the better shell quality of those eggs, which is more resistant to breaking. The weight of eggs laid in the afternoon is smaller. Differences in morning and afternoon eggs deformations increase with increasing age of layers. Shell resistance to breaking decreases with the age of layers, evenly in all eggs, regardless of the time when they are laid. The weight of eggs laid after 11 o'clock increases with the age of layers at somewhat lower rate than the weight of those laid before 11 o'clock.
