Histo-physiological examination of oogenesis in the bleak (Alburnus alburnus macedonicus Kar.) and goldfish (Carassius auratus gibelio Bloch)
1986
Janic, M. (Faculty of science, Skopje (Yugoslavia))
Gonadotropic and prolactin cells of hypophysis and the oogenesis process of the Lake Dojran bleak (Alburnus alburnus macedonicus Kar.) in its natural environment and oogenesis of goldfish (Carassius auratus gibellic Bloch) in experimental conditions were examined after the treatment with hormones (LHRH, HCG and estradiol dipropionate). It has been established that oocytes pass through 9 development stages in the course of the annual sexual cycle. Physical and chemical oocyte characteristics in some stages of the development have also been determined. The effect of LHRH and HCG hormones upon the ovary and hypophysis in goldfish is evident only after the 3rd dose while the effect of dipropionate is clearly expressed after the 1st and 2nd doses.
