Application of short capillary scot columns for the determination of triglycerides by gas chromatography

On the basis of the conducted experiments it could be concluded that fat and oil triglycerides of the whole spectrum from C26 to C52 can successfully be separated by the application of capillary SCOT columns, 2 m long, with a diameter of 1 mm and the stationary liquid phase Dexsil-300. The size of the sample (test) has no significant effect upon the efficiency of separation.
