"Srbijanka" is a new wheat cultivar obtained by crossing the "Kavkasus" and "29/60" cultivars and it is characterised by great bearing potential of grains and high quality. During the investigation in many locations it produced over 9.0 t/ha of grain and in Osijek (Slavonija, Yugoslavia) it produced 10.4 t/ha in 1984. The average yield in all locations (18) and all the years of investigation (3) is 6.6 t/ha. This wheat cultivar produces flour and bread of high quality. Resistance to cold and to black rust is very high but to leaf rust it is somewhat lower. Resistance to lodging and grain shattering is high.
