It has been established that cellulolytic complex of mould, Trichoderma harzianum C1-R1 is complete but poor with betaglucosidase which has a negative effect upon the cellulose hydrolysis. Due to relatively high content of endo-beta-1.4 gluconase and xylanase, T. harzianum C1-R1 as a source of enzyme is worth attention. The investigation also deals with effects of pH and temperature (40' and 50'C) upon xylanase and cellulase.
