Clonal selection of large-fruited Pozegaca in the plum-growing regions of Bosnia [Yugoslavia]

During a twenty-year period (1961-1981), by the clone selection of the Pozegaca plum, 7 promise clones of the Pozegaca have been selected, having average fruit weight of 22 to 24 g, this being 30 to 40% more than the weight of the standard Pozegaca plum, and this makes a significant difference. The Pozegaca clones P 24 and D 6 having large fruits have been certified as new varieties Korajka and Bosanka.
