Direct and correlated effects of selection on chickens' body weight

In a two-way selection experiment on two male lines through six generations heavier 56-day-old chickens have been selected. The investigation has been carried out, apart from direct effects, into the correlation effects of the age of sexual maturity, laying ability, egg weight and the weight of day-old chickens.
