[Forecast and providing of necessary quantities of water for irrigation of soil in the Macva region [Yugoslavia]]

This paper presents a short survey of hydrologic characteristics of The Macva region in S.R. Serbia (Yugoslavia), as well as the forcast of necessary water quantities for irrigation of agricultural crops. As springs the important are groundwaters from quaternary sand and gravel layers in which significant water reserves of adequate quality are accumulated. Dipping of groundwaters would be carried out either by well-drilling or by the system of artificial "groundwater holes".
