The dehydrated grape pomace has a negative effect upon the digestibility of nearly all the components in rations for dairy cows. Also, in the fat digestibility, the highest coefficient is with cows in the treatment without the pomace. It has been observed that digestibility coefficients of all nutritive components (except of raw cellulose) are lower in cows with lower milk yield and higher in cows with higher milk yield. This indicates to the existence of positive correlation between the rate of feed efficiency and milk yield in cows. The conversion of raw cellulose however, is better in cows with lower milk yield.
