Effect of Agrostemin on yield of some maize inbred lines and hybrids grown under and without irrigation
1986
Vasic, G. (Institut za kukuruz "Zemun Polje", Beograd (Yugoslavia))
Statistically significant differences have been established between the studied maize genotypes, which is normal considering that this includes the hybrid and its parental components. The other studied factors, water usage and the use of the biostimulator, Agrostemin and fertilizer did not show any statistically significant differences. Somewhat higher yields were achieved with irrigation than without it. The use of only the biostimulator, Agrostemin does not result in an increase in the seed yield of lines and hybrids. In yields achieved with a combination of Agrostemin and fertilizer, it is impossible to distinguish the effect of the Agrostemin from that of the fertilizer.
