Study of the chemical fruit properties in some highbush blueberry cultivators

The paper presents results of a study on the fruit chemical properties of eight highbush blueberry cultivars in agro-ecological conditions of the hilly-mountainous region of western Serbia (Yugoslavia). The contents of dry matter, soluble solids, sugars, total acids, total mineral matter, macronutrients (N,P,K,Ca,Mg) and micronutrients, were determined. According to the contents of most of the tested fruit chemical properties, statistically significant differences exist between cultivars, as well as between the years tested.
