Research results in application of glass containers with twist-off closures in canned meat production

The results of the examination show the following: glass containers with twist-off caps are suitable for the storage of meat products, glass containers filled with sterilized meat while it is hot (the containers are sealed at the temperature of over 50 deg C) need not be vacuum sealed and light has negative effects upon the colour of meat products kept in colourless, transparent glass containers. However, the flower of the products remains stable over several years of storage.
