Curative control of the wheat ground beetle (Zabrus tenebrioides) by foliar wheat treatment of the winter wheat crop in the late autumn or early winter periods includes implicitly prompt treatment. The treatment should take place as soon as possible. Preparations with high initial toxicity at lower temperatures (approximately 5 deg C) should be applied, and because of frequent interruptions in the nutrition of the larvae, these preparations should have outstanding persistency. The greatest reduction in the number of larvae was achieved with a treatment including a combination of preparations Cymbush 10 EC (1 lit.) + Monocrotophos 20 WSC (1 lit.).
