1987
Feldhofer, S. (Veterinarski fakultet, Sarajevo (Yugoslavia)) | Kalivoda, M. | RAjman, Z.
Samples of maize silage were produced by the addition of 1.5% and 2.3% of "Benural 60" and ensiled in a large silo. The results have shown that samples with "Benural 60" had a higher content of crude proteins. The addition of "Benural 60" increased the ash content, but it did not increase the pH value of the investigated samples with "Benural 60" in spite of the added alkaline compounds. Maize silage with 1.5% and 2.0% of "Benural 60" had an increased content of lactic acid. The quality evaluation was good. It was however pointed out that ensiling should be technically carried out under anaerobic conditions.
