The microbiological and chemical analysis and the results of the biotest of wheat (Triticum vulgare) and black pine (Pinus nigra) sowing have shown that naturally composted bark represents a high quality organic fertilizer. It has a high content of all basic groups of microorganisms. The degree of humification exceeds 50%. The results of the biotest made in laboratory conditions have confirmed that the analyzed compost of broad-leaved trees bark is rich in nutritive elements.
