The application of some typical acaricides in controlling Panonychus ulmi Koch. [Tetranychidae]

The paper gives the results of the investigation into the application of some acaricides in controlling Panonychus ulmi Koch. The results show that the initial toxicity of Apollo and Nissorun is considerably lower in comparison with adulticides, and therefore they have to be applied when the population density of Panonychys ulmi Koch. is below the level of noxiousness or they are to be applied in combination with acaricides having adulticidal effects. The Appolo and Nissorun preparations show toxic effects on younger mobile forms. Akareks shows the highest initial toxicity, being followed by Dicofol, Plictran and Omite.
