Newly created peach varieties: Vesna and Maja in productive conditions

The newly created peach varieties, Maja and Vesna, cultivated in the shape of a spindle, demonstrated high yield potential during the first years of fruitfulness in high density peach plantations (1.480 fruit-trees per ha). Yields achieved with the newly created varieties surpass yields achieved with the standard peach varieties. The average fruit mass of the newly created varieties is greater than that of the standard ones.
