Results of cropping trials showed that cvs Idared, Jonagold, Gloster and Prima produced good yields in the third growing season. During regular bearing, stable and good yields were recorded in Idared, Jonagold, Melrose and Golden Delicious. Stable but low yields were recorded in Red Boskoop and alternate bearing in Gloster and Prima. The cv Karmijin de Sonaville showed marked non-bearing. The cvs Idared, Jonagold, Gloster, Melrose and Golden Delicious are recommended for growing in dense plantings in the Belgrade fruit-growing area (Yugoslavia).
