Dry matter yield and concentration and accumulation of nitrogen in aboveground part of plant were increased by increasing rates of nitrogen. Optimal nitrogen accumulation in the plants was 74 kg/ha in the shooting, and 113 kg/ha in the flowering. Under the nitrogen nutrition accumulation of nitrogen in the straw increased faster than in the grain. Optimal concentration of nitrogen in the plant was 3.4% in the shooting and 1,3% in the flowering. Increase of dry matter and nitrogen in the reproductive period wasn't different within medium and high rate of nitrogen, but their reutilization from vegetative organs to grain increased. Increase of dry matter was 72% and reutilization was 28% in the grain yield. In the total grain nitrogen, current nitrogen after flowering was 23% from total nitrogen in the plant. Harvest index of grain and harvest index of nitrogen didn't change by increasing to maximal grain yield value. After that they decreased. Physiological (kg grain/kg N plant) and agrochemical efficiency (kg grain/kg N fertilizers) and efficiency of vegetative organs to make assimilates for grain filling decreased with increasing rate of nitrogen. Results showed that the base for expressing of differences in the yield of dry matter and grain as well as in the nitrogen accumulation were formed in the vegetative period of wheat. Nitrogen accumulation in the plant was better indicator for productivity than nitrogen concentration.
