Physical properties of this tobacco have shown considerable dependence upon influence of thermic treatment redrying under laboratory conditions. This treatment at the temperatures of 45 deg. C and 55 deg. C has caused increased elasticity and water retention capability and reduction of relative tobacco mass - but very slight, while at temperatures of 65 deg. C and 75 deg. C this influence is considerably stronger - which has been especially obvious after ageing. Processing of this tobacco at the temperatures of 85 deg. C, and especially at 95 deg. C and 105 deg. C has shown unfavourable influence on the values of the above parameters.
