Biotechnical foundations on development and use of tractors in mechanization of perennial plantations

The aim of this paper is systematization of the effect of biotechnical requirements on the development and use of tractors in fruit growing and vineyards. There are big differences in the method of growing of individual kinds and varieties of fruits and grapes. These differences caused also different use of machines and by itself of tractors too. For work in the perennial plantations, besides the standard tractors, of special purpose are developed and improved: narrow tractors, wheeled and caterpillar, those specially high clearance, small articulated tractors etc.
