This paper presents the results of a comparative study on the differences between four modes of short-term credit repayment out of the selective program of the National Bank of Yugoslavia and three ways of long-term credit repayment for investments out of the credit potential of business banks. The two existing models of long-term credit repayment were critically analyzed considering the high inflation rates. A repayment model of investment credits by revaluating the rest of the loan is developed whereby the user may repay the credit at equal instalments.
