The objective of this investigation was to establish the presence of genetic variability in sugarbeet plants induced from callus cells. Genotypic changes were tested by means of isozymic markers. Genetic traits were examined on the basis of individual loci for the analyzed isozymes. Genetic variability was assessed on the basis of the polymorphic loci. The tested plants varied in the frequency of isozymic phenotypes, as a consequence of different allelic frequencies for polymorphic loci.
