Dry matter production of perennial grasses of different species and their cultivars

This paper analyzes total annual matter yield of five perennial grass species and their 27 cultivars in the course of 4 harvest years. These species dominate the grass seeds sown on sown-meadows. A mixed split-plot design and corresponding orthogonal polynomials were used for the analysis of experimental data. Based on the yield index a comparison of the cultivars was also fully considered.
