The irrigation effect on important phenophases of some apple cultivars during the vegetation cycle
1993
Velickovic, M. (Poljoprivredni fakultet, Beograd (Yugoslavia))
Phenological manifestations in fruit production are directly dependent on the agroecological conditions and the agricultural practices used. Irrigation influences certain phenophases throughout their duration, and consequently the normal growth and yields of apple cultivars. Under dry, non-irrigation conditions, some phenophases are disturbed (even and overlapping). To divert the adverse consequences, adequate irrigation must be provided.
