[Effect of different doses of coccidiostats on post vaccinal immunity of rabbits. [Part of master thesis]]

The paper presents the effect of the coccidiostats Sakoks, Stenerol and Amprol-Plus, which were applied to rabbits p.o. in a prophylactic, double prophylactic or triple prophylactic dose. Experimantal and control groups of animal were administered the vaccine Salmonella cholerae suis. In comparison to the control, it was observed that Sakoks had a suppressive effect on antibody synthesis: a) In a prophylactic dose administered 7 days after vaccination; b) In a double prophylactic dose 14 days after vaccination; c) In a triple prophylactic dose 21 days after vaccination. Stenerol had a much weaker effect on the synthesis of antibodies: a) In a prophylactic or a double prophylactic dose administrated 7 days after vaccination; b) In a triple prophylactic dose 14 days after vaccination. Amprol-Plus in a triple prophylactic dose had a significant effect in reducing the titer of specific antibodies but only during the first 7 days after vaccination.
