Four winter wheat cultivars (Triticum aestivum L.) were grown in a two-year field experiment at a four levels of fertilization on a soil very deficient in phosphorus. Cultivars showed significant differences of average phosphorus concentration in all organs of the aboveground part. Differences attained 17.4-48.5 in heading and 8.8-64.7 in full maturity. Fertilization for the most part caused decrease of phosphorus concentration in all organs by as much as 50 in heading and 35 in full maturity. Correlation between grain yield and phosphorus concentration in plant organs was mainly low and negative, with some exceptions in the heading phase.
