The percentage of processed seed depends on the purity of the harvested seed, kind and proportion of weed seed and the portion of supporting crop. Average purity of unprocessed seed of annual forage pulses (peas and vetch) in pure sowing is 89.0 and ranged from 81.6-96.3, with wheat 84.4 and with barley 83.6, respectively. Weed seed with quantitative and qualitative presence in unprocessed annual forage pulses seed, is not such a problem as with alfalfa. Average content of supporting crop is 5.25 with wheat and 6.35 with barley, respectively. Average utilization in seed processing of annual forage pulses is 81.0 and ranged from 66.3 to 93.5, with wheat 73.6 and with barley 71.5, respectively. The loos during processing in pure sowing is 7.8, in mixtures with wheat 10.80 and with barley 12.1.
