The development of a small, artificially established stand was studied based on the data of periodical measurements. Based on the comparison of growth elements at the age of 32 years with the Increment and Yield Tables (Wimenauer, Gerhard, Spiranec), the stand had an intensive development. At the age of 42 years, after 3 silvicultural interventions and some adverse impacts of biotic and abiotic nature, an intensive process of decline and destruction was observed in the stand. A more detailed research of the cause of the significantly reduced number of trees, basal area, and volume in the period between the ages 32 and 42 years would contribute to defining a strategy of pedunculate oak raising in this edaphically and climatically specific time.
