[Biological and pomological and technological characteristics of the most important cultivars of nectarines growing in the agroecological conditions of Podgorica [Montenegro, Yugoslavia]]

Biological and pomological and technological characteristics of some more important nectarine varieties were studied in the agroecological conditions of Podgorica, Montenegro (Yugoslavia). In addition to phenological study (blooming and maturity of fruits), pomological characteristics, yields, the total weight of nectarine fruit and chemical composition of fruits were studied too (soluble dry matter, the total acid content and pH). Based on the obtained results it turned out that the varieties Stark Redgold, Stark Sunglo and Early Sungrand may be cultivated in this region.
