Comparison of carcass value of bulls Holstein breed and crossbreds with Limousin breed

More favourable carcass indices were found in crossbred groups (Holstein x Limousine - H x L). The slaughter weight of carcass halves was comparable in both groups (H 261.50 kg, H x L 262.81 kg). The slaughter yield of H x L group was 55.48 and of H 54.16. The meat part in carcass half was higher in H x L group (78.97) than in H group (75.64). Both the fat and the bone part in carcass half were lower in H x L group (H x L 4.68, H 4.91, resp. H x L 13.35, H 19.45). Similarly the share of the 1st class meat was more favourable in H x L group (55.13) than H group (53.61). The analysis of three ribon sample - muscular tissue: 57.11 in H, 66.04 in H x L, fat tossue: 19.49 in H, 15.01 H x L, bone tissue: 23.40 in H and 18.95 in H x L group.
