[Content of microelements in the premixes for complet feed mixtures]

We analysed sixteen samples of premixes for complet fodder mixtures from five producers (two universal premixes, three for pigs, five for poultry and six for bull calves). We determined content of macroelements (Na, Ca) and microelements (Zn, Cu, Fe, Mn, Co, Mg). Samples of premixes were prepared by digestion with mixture of nitric-perchloric acid. Zn, Cu, Fe, Mn, Mg, Na and Ca were determined using atomic absorption spectrophotometry (AAS, Perkin Elmer 3300) with background correction. Our results shown significant difference in investigated elements from declared amounts to all producers
