The paper presents the results of three years investigation of grass-leguminous mixtures in Bijelo Polje vicinity (Montenegro, Yugoslavia). Experiment included five mixtures and investigated productive values were: total yield, dry matter, distribution of yields by course of vegetation and years, floristic structure of grasslands and nutrition values of plant mass. The greatest total yield of dry matter has been obtained by mixture 3 (Dactylis glomerata, Medicago sativa, Arrenatherum elatius L. and Lotus corniculatus L.) with 31.76 t/ha. Distribution of yields by years was the following: 18.08 in the first, 36.52 in the second and 45.40 in the third year. In the average yearly yield, the first cutting participated with 46.84, the second cutting with 35.50 and the third cutting with 17.66. Floristic structure of grassland are expressed by weight share in yield of green mass by groups of meadow-pastures vegetation (grasses, leguminous and weeds). All variations had acceptable nutrition values of plant mass. Average protein contents varied from 13.10 to 14.9.
