The effects of therapy of clinical and subclinical mastitis in lactating and dry cows with Afimastite L (amoxycillin-trihydrate 200 mg and cloxacillin-Na 200 mg, a 6 g) and Afimastite A (amoxycillin-trihydrate 200 mg and benzatine-cloxacillin 200 mg, a 5.5 g) were examined. The quarter milk samples from 99 clinical mastitis affected cows during lactation and from 34 cows with subclinical mastitis in the dry period were examined, before and after treatment with Afimastite L and Afimastite A. The infections of mammary gland in lactating cows were caused by Streptococcus agalactiae in 29.29% cases, and by Staphylococcus aureus in 69.70% cases. In the subclinical mastitis affected cows in the dry period Staphylococcus aureus were established in 29.41% and Streptococcus agalactiae in 70.59% cases. Intramammary infusion of Afimastite L and Afimastite A were effective treatment, with a cure rate of 92.93% and 97.06% cows, respectively.
