This work includes the following tillage systems: conventional tillage, mulch tillage and no tillage and herbicide application. The trials were carried out on chernozem soil type. Regarding differences in weed density between examined tillage methods in both years of investigation a certain reduction of weeds number were appointed on the plots following mulch tillage, especially if withdraw herbicide application. The lower above ground mass of weeds was obtained on the variants with direct planting in the first, and on variant with mulch tillage during the second year of examination. Oppositely of dry 1996, in 1997 better performance of Rimsulphuron in combination with Atrazine and 2,4-D, was marked in regard to Nicosulphuron. However, herbicide combination of Atrazine and Nicosulphuron could provide effective control of weediness in No-till, especially in decrease of mass of weeds. Conservation tillage systems, because of significant effects of mulched surface are very acceptable under conditions of relative exclusion of chemicals.
