The available groundwater resources for water supplying in alluvial deposits of the river Velika Morava, Serbia (Yugoslavia) are not completely utilized. Significant new supply and additional reserve of ground water can be provided from the old and new sources. This paper will present hydrogeological characteristics of alluvial deposits, using exploitation capacity of groundwater sources, and the possibilities of opening new groundwater sources in this area.
