The natural potential for development of Yugoslav Danube area and evaluation sensitivity to consequence of development

The Yugoslav Danube area is the most developed region in Serbia (Yugoslavia). It is one connected zone in the north of Balkan peninsula which makes contact between West and East Europe and Middle East. The outline of Danube area is river Danube which is the most important European water-road because it connects North sea and Atlantic with Black sea. Besides very good location, Yugoslav Danube area has favourable natural conditions for development. According to natural potential (natural conditions, factors and resources) in this zone is developed: agriculture, energetics, industry and tourism. Because all this reasons Danube area is the most settled region on Balkan peninsula.
