A suggestion for solving price controversies of milk production in Yugoslavia

PKB Corporation is leading in milk production in Yugoslavia. Milk presents the firm's main product throught its participation in the total sales. Consequently, this product's pricing policy and its price level present a very complex problem. The price should be high enough to be stimulative to the producers, but not excessive to aggravate the consumption and the living standard of the population. Those relations complexly may be noticed from the presented analysis of milk production, productivity realized in PKB Corporation and in the European countries, the expenses of input and the selling prices of milk being fixed by the state. The subventions awarded by the state were not forwarded to bonus payments, but to reinbursements. The author suggested measures and a mechanism for this product pricing aimed to contribute to those problems solution.
