[The groundwater data base of the Republic Hydrometeorological Service of Serbia [Yugoslavia]]

Monitoring of quantitative and qualitative characteristics of groundwaters is a legal and basic activity of the Republic Hydrometeorological service of Serbia (Yugoslavia). The data are collected throughout the whole year, processed and published within the Annual. The obtained results of the observations are used for the elaboration of numerous studies, designs and scientific papers. The Republic Hydrometeorological Service of Serbia made its own software package called Hydrological Data Bank in 1990, where the data base for groundwaters is included. The paper shows the organization of data base as well as some software possibilities.
