Ristic, M. (Sumarski fakultet, Beograd (Yugoslavia))
Local mass occurrences of oak flea beetle Altica quercetorum Foud. (Coleoptera, Chrysomelidae) have been detected in Central and South Serbia (Yugoslavia). The preferred host plant is sessile oak. The damage is caused by adult insects during additional feeding in early spring (early-season defoliators), larvae (long-season defoliators) and adult insects of the new generation (late-season defoliators). During the study of the mass occurrence of oak flea beetle, a complex of his natural enemies was determined.
