The present study points to the importance and the perspective of control of plant pathogens, as well as the basic mechanism of the activity of antagonistic microorganisms. In relation to this, various practical uses of antagonists for plant protection were noted. Though, a great progress in this research has been made, biological pesticides are not widely used in practice. Due to this, the further studies are necessary in order to overcome the present problems and use more biological pesticides for plant protection.
